I often look at my kids and wonder what I am giving them. I spend many a tired hour laboring over the question “What mark will I leave on these two wonders?” The answer typically goes something like this;
Good hair and eye lashes (thank you grandma for the good genes), the art of appropriately placed sarcasm (work in progress), the desire to seek out the story in a song, an appreciation for dancing in the kitchen, and words. I can give them words.

I’m just a regular girl. I’m a wife, a mom, an executive, a daughter, a sister, an auntie, a friend……I have words.
